Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Dissolve the yeast in warm milk in a large bowl. I usually just microwave the milk in the microwave for 30 to 60 seconds. You don't want the milk hot, just warm enough to dissolve the yeast.
In a separate bowl mix the salt, sugar, and flour with a whisk until incorporated
Using a paddle or dough attachment, add the flour mixture to the milk and yeast along with the eggs and margarine. Mix well
Dust your hands slightly with flour and knead the dough into a large ball. Put in a bowl and cover with a towel in a warm area to rise for an hour or until the dough has doubled in size
Roll out the dough using a rolling pin dusted in flour on a lightly floured surface. The dough should be rolled to about 21 inches long by 16 inches wide at 1/4 inch thick
Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl
Spread the softened margarine over the surface of the rolled out dough and then sprinkle the brown sugar cinnamon evenly over the surface
Carefully roll the dough starting from one long end to the other
Cut the dough into about 1 3/4 inch slices and place them in a lightly greased baking pan
Bake for 12 min or until lightly golden brown (and smell amazing)
While the rolls are baking, combine the icing ingredients in a bowl and mix well until fully incorporated and nice and fluffy
When the rolls are done, spread the delicious cream cheese icing all over those bad boys and viola! Enjoy with a cup of coffee in the morning, evening treat, mid-day snack, post mid-day snack, pre-dinner morsel...you get the idea.
*I have no idea where I got this recipe from (like most of my recipes) as I have had it for years and it is handwritten from who knows where. So thank you to whoever made these because they're amazing!
